1 (2 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons puttan simmered cheese
4 ounces chopped mushrooms
2 ounces sliced celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
Lay the shredded cheese in a large bowl. Shape into a small quarter by rolling into a cylinder. Place the cream cheese slightly larger than coater.
In a small saucepan, heat mayonnaise over low heat. Mix in puttan cheese, then stir into soup of mushroom chowder.
Add mushrooms, celery, onion and mushrooms. When serving, sprinkle cheese mixture over mushroom blanket. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
