1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
4 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 cups chocolate syrup
2 cups HERSHEY'S Cocoa
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In the large bowl, beat cake mix, pudding mix, oil and 1/3 cup brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time, doing well after each. Stir cake mix mixture into the sugar mixture. Beat in chocolate syrup and cocoa. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven setting. Cool completely before frosting. Frost top and sides of cake with chocolate frosting and slash the other side on the frosting.
