7 slices bacon
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons ground ginger
1 egg
1 cup fat free Italian-style dressing
1 cup beer
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon paprika dried basil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Spread bacon on bottom of loaf pan. Brush with oil. Place burgers on top. Sprinkle with each layer of bacon and beef. Brush with egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Sprinkle with sage. Coat with paprika.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Drain grease leaving a small blob at center. Spread a layer of mustard over each layer. Brush with beer and Worcestershire sauce. Drizzle with paprika.
Bake for 5 to 6 minutes in preheated oven, brushing with paprika every 5 minutes with a wooden spoon.
Remove from oven and brush with paprika. Place on serving platter and sprinkle with salt, pepper and capers.
