3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 dash garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 dash paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried green onion
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon paprika
In a medium saucepan, mix butter, vinegar, salt, basil, sage, thyme, garlic powder, rosemary, paprika, and garlic powder. Bring mixture to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 1 hour.
Stir sauce slowly into a medium bowl. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir sauce into tomato sauce, vinegar, salt, basil, sage, thyme, garlic powder, rosemary, paprika, and garlic powder. Add enough water to cover; simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
