1 (9 inch) pie pan
4 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 (2 ounce) box rainbow colored pudding mix
3 tablespoons butter
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine confectioners' sugar, pudding mix and butter. Blend until smooth and spread into bottom of pie pan. Sprinkle remaining pudding mix over mixture in pan. Fill pastry shell with pudding mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, until golden brown. Cool before serving.
