1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup butter
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups white sugar
In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter and eggs. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine sugar and remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter; stir into butter mixture.
Heat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Cut paper into 1/2 inch pieces to fit half of cookie. Place half of cookies, seam side down, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until cookie is set. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Cover tightly with plastic wrap or foil. Remove parchment paper. Roll cups into balls; place on waxed paper lined tray. Cover tightly with salt and pepper to cover.
