Rye Custard Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup milk

1 (8 ounce) can skim milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons butter, softened

1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 (8 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a mixing bowl combine the cream cheese, milk, salt, butter, mushrooms, sugar, and whipped topping. Mix well, transfer mixture to a large steamer or casserole dish, and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Top with remaining cream cheese, mushrooms, sugar, and whipped topping before serving.
