1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x4 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla and lemon juice. Pour the batter into the pan, covering completely.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.
