1 (8 ounce) can refried beans, drained
1/2 onion, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1 (8 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (4 ounce) can crushed tortilla chips
1 (8 ounce) can refried beans with salsa (e.g. Breyers)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
Heat the refried beans in a small skillet over medium low heat. Saute until browned and the beans are heated through. Drain with a slotted spoon.
In a medium bowl, mix the onion, green pepper, taco seasoning and taco chips. Shape mixture into a 1/2 inch thick. Fold over the seeded tortilla, roll and place over the hot hot tortilla. Serve hot or cold.
