2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/3 cups dry milk powder
1/3 cup distilled white vinegar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Melt brown sugar in a small saucepan. Stir together with butter and vinegar; bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat. Stir in egg, vanilla extract, pecans, chocolate chips and water. Cook until mixture thickens. Pour into greased 9x5-inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store at room temperature.
