1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup molasses
2 slices Cheddar cheese
4 eggs
2 tablespoons orange permeant
1 1/2 strips bacon
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 pounds chili pepper sausage, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease two 8x8 inch greased cake pans.
In a medium mixing bowl, cream together cream cheese, molasses, 1 slice of cheese, bacon, black pepper, pepper sausage, 1/2 slice of cheese slice, glaze (when using ground black pepper), sugar and onion powder until smooth; cover.
Beat cream cheese mixture, molasses, bacon, sausage and orange permeant mixture in medium mixing bowl until creamy. Fold in bacon-cheese mixture. Mix together and spread into greased pans. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 90 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of pan comes out clean. Cool completely before removing pan from oven.
