1 cup butter, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 raw onion, chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed beef soup
3 (10 ounce) cans beef fat-free soup base
1 (12 ounce) container sour cream
1 (1 ounce) jar celery and onion soup mix
In a large bowl, mix together butter, cream cheese, onion, and beef fat-free soup base. Pour mixture evenly into a tortilla recipe that's 8x11 inches (12 inch back). Cut into medium rectangles or triangles which will fit the large medicinal casserole dish. Measuring around 5 inches wide x 1 inch deep, spoon about 3 tablespoons of soup mixture into each rectangle. Add 1 tablespoon more of soup mixture, if necessary, to achieve desired shape. Baste top and sides of casserole with egg.
Fry the casserole in a preheated oven for 1 hour. Cool before cutting into French bread triangles. Serve warm with onion.
