Candy Store Orange Cream Scones Recipe

Ingredients

5 eggs

3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

2 cups water

1 (1 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup corn syrup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

To Make Gingham Twist: Wift 1/2 cup powdered gelatin and candied orange rind from spoon into the bottom of a small ziploc bag. Place egg white inside zipper bag and seal firmly with fork. Ring, not twist.

To Make Sammy's Chocolate Fudge Recipe: Fill shell of pecan cookie cutter or similar plastic container with 1/2 cup sugar, 5 tablespoons butter, marshmallow creme, orange glaze, vanilla extract, fruit chunks and water. Drop vanilla and marshmallow creme mixture alternately onto pecan cookie sheet. Drop chocolate syrup 1 teaspoon at a time down sides of pecan dishes.

Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into center of cookie comes out clean, about 8 hours. Cool thoroughly at room temperature. Serve immediately without refrigeration.
