1 cup butter, melted
2 3/4 cups white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
To Make Crust: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir together sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly. Place flour into a separate small bowl, and stir into the melted butter mixture.
Bake a 10 inch pie dish in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool about ten minutes before cutting into squares.
