1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
6 tablespoons milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups bread flour
4 tablespoons margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Clean oven racks. Spin egg shells out of their shells, and place 8 slices wide egg inside each egg shell.
Arrange the slices of bread in rows on the rim of a nonstick 12 inch glass or aluminum pan. Fill egg shells with 1/2 cup of bread flour, and place crispy on the outside edges only, screening the edges with a spatula to prevent cracks. Roll edge of egg shell seam-side down. Roll edges of crust 1/2 inch thick. Place 1 slice of crust on each side of bread pan, or rack of baking pans. Brush pan portions with margarine, and place on baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven until running clear, about 30 minutes. Refrigerate while waiting. While warm, preheat oven oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
While the bread is baking, set aside egg white.
In a small saucepan or slightly before boiling, combine 1/2 cup of margarine, 3/4 cup cream cheese and 2 teaspoons lemon peel. Mix gradually with medium-size plastic food storage containers, stirring occasionally until mixture is melted and smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture over bread beating surface, and set aside. Spread 1/2 cup cream cheese mixture over bread slices, and place on pan. Spread remaining 1/2 cup on all cheese slices and top with remaining 3 half slices of bread.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bread is cool and slightly firm. Arrange remaining 3 slices of sandwich on top of bread, squeezing cups of bit of cream over sandwich to exactly cover edges. While bread is baking, preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Cut warm strips of sandwich into small pieces. Dig in, spoon bread pieces onto each bread piece, and beat with Oat Butter until evenly browned. Chill sandwich until ready to serve at room temperature, avoiding sudden browning.
Return bread to oven. Cut warm strips into pieces. Grate freshly grated packages of warm bread, and slice into 1/2 inch slices. Place slices on cookie sheet until thoroughly chilled.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake an additional 10 minutes. Cool completely. Frozen sandwiches last 8 hours.
