1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1 (4 ounce) package chocolate candy-coated chocolate pieces
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins
In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, butter, chocolate pieces and oats until thoroughly combined. Spread mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
Pour a small amount of syrup or milk over the hot mixture so that it does not burn. Warm syrup mixture until it begins to bubble, then pour over chocolate mixture. Mix well.
