1/2 lemon, sliced
1/2 apple - peeled, cored and sliced
1 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 cup ketchup
Pour lemon slices into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Pour syrup and lemon juice into a large bowl, stirring constantly. Return to a boil. Stir in the honey, orange liqueur and ketchup; mix, whisking constantly, until consistency of frosting. Let cool before cutting into small squares or bars.
