5 (4 ounce) bags ham hams
2 pounds bacon strips
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup cider vinegar
4 onions, chopped
6 slivered almonds
1 (8 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place ham hams, bacon strips, brown sugar, salt, pepper and nutmeg in large shallow dish; stir. Place the ham mixture in the baking dish. Pour the vinegar over the ham mixture and sprinkle with the peaches.
Stir ham mixture into the baking dish and top with the almonds and peaches. Pour the mixture over ham mixture. Return the whole pan to the oven for 20 minutes, or until bones are quite browned.
