1/2 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup white sugar
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup oat/oat blanched oats
1 syrup
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in milk, then vanilla, oat/oat blanched oats, 1 mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, for 20 minutes. Stir in syrup. Stirring constantly, cook 1 minute, until mixture is thickened.
Remove cookies from pans. Transfer to wire racks. Immediately remove wrappers from cookies. Remove wrappers by removing bottoms of cookies. Place on wire rack to cool completely. Cool completely on wire rack.
