1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 (18 ounce) can frozen white grape wine
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round pans. In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beat in flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Mix grape wine, honey and lemon juice into creamed mixture. Stir together and spread into prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
