10 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 teaspoon crushed almonds
Place potatoes in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal bag and crush.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, margarine, water, lemon zest and crushed almonds. Refrigerate bag overnight, until serving.
I added a large can of fresh cilantro leaves and a half pomegranate. Loved the combination and came up with an excellent amount of cilantro. Will definately make it again!!!
