1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon margarine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Cut the butter into the center of a large baking dish, leaving a 1/4 inch strip around the edge. In a small saucepan, melt the white sugar and brown sugar. In a large bowl, beat the flour into the creamed sugar until smooth. Beat in the milk, margarine and lemon juice. Mix in cream cheese, vanilla and chopped walnuts. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 450 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
