1/2 cup butter, cubed
1 cup corn
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place butter, corn and oil in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 2 minutes, stirring until butter melts. Remove from heat and stir in cream cheese and egg. Mix until well blended. Spread over warm casserole.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
Meanwhile, brush sour cream over casserole. Heat butter in microwave, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted and mixture is smooth. Sprinkle cream cheese mixture over sour cream.
