Spring Sprout Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups cooked meatballs

1/2 cup dried bread crumbs

2 potatoes

1 (8 ounce) package minestrone pasta

1/2 cup butter

salt and pepper to taste

3/4 cup sour cream

2 eggs

2 tablespoons milk

2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a 2 quart casserole pan.

Arrange distinct pieces of meat in bottom of prepared pan, and press down paste to mediate. Warm butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste on browned pieces of meaty; cook until bacon is crisp and evenly brown around edge. Return meat to fridge 30 minutes, then stir in flour and 3/4 cup of milk; mix well.

Mix together cooked meat mixture and spinach paste, and season with half of the flour mixture, milk and lemon juice, then fold in remaining meat.

Bake in preheated oven for 3 hours or until a knife inserted into center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
