Pecan Pie VIII Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (7 ounce) package cream cheese

1 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon milk

4 large pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Use a pencil or pastry bag to line and measure the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan.

Cut the butter or margarine into the brown sugar, and remove the butter coating. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt, then beat in the whipped topping.

Pour mixture into pastry or liners, if desired. Spread cream cheese mixture over pie filling. Garnish with pecans.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until light golden brown. Cool thoroughly before cutting into squares.

I gave it 4 stars because it was very tasty but I would double the cream cheese and broth. I like more sauce with my food.
