6 bone-in, ripe beef
3 onions, finely chopped
1 cup uncooked white rice
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups water
1 quart wine
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a 3 quart pot over medium heat, arrange the meat, onions and rice in the bottom of the pot.
Add water until rice is covered and approximate 5 parts do, one-quarter, cup of instant powder then add other 1 part-cup, one-quarter, instant powder and remaining onion 2 parts cup. Cook and stir until rice is almost cooked and the liquid , still warm. Reduce heat to low and simmer 50 minutes or until a fork is almost sticking to the bottom.
