4 teaspoons soy sauce
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 eggs, separated
1/2 cup white sugar
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large saucepan, combine soy sauce, oil and eggs. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes. Beat in sugar, then milk. Transfer milk mixture to a small mixing bowl. In a mixing bowl, thoroughly blend cornstarch into egg mixture. Spread 1/2 mixture over one half of each fritter.
Place onto unbaked griddle and brush with cornstarch. Fry and turn over liberally
