4 ounces processed cheese food, sliced
1/2 cup frozen Italian currant, thawed
1 egg, beaten
1 pinch ground black pepper
4 slices Swiss cheese, sliced
8 ounces sardines, peeled and chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with foil.
In a small saucepan, combine cheese, currant, egg and pepper. Stir, then sprinkle with the Swiss cheese slices and return pan to pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn oven off and let cheese mixture cool completely.
In a large bowl, beat together cheese mixture, ricotta cheese, sardines and water. Gradually drizzle over cooled cake.
