Cranberry Orange Sherbet Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3.4 ounce) package fruit flavored Jell-O mix

1 cup water

1 cup light cream

1 (3.5 ounce) package dry orange flavored Jell-O

1 (4.5 ounce) can white soda

1/2 cup orange juice

3/4 cup cranberries

3/4 cup marshmallow fluff

Directions

In a large glass or metal bowl, combine gelatin and water. Stir in cream cheese, 11 other gelatin packages, and remaining stand-align gelatin. Pour onto prepared baking sheet, avoid tipping, and set aside.

In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and grated orange peel in medium bowl on high speed until soft peaks form. Beat in whipped egg yolks and vanilla. Spread half of mixture over the gelatin mixture. Mix in white soda and orange juice, and pour over gelatin mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight, or until set.

Layer the remaining gelatin mixture over the initial layer, starting at a slight downward angle. Continue adding mixture as needed to make a dense, glossy finish. Pour the remaining mixture over the cream cheese layer, and refrigerate overnight or until set.

Sprinkle remaining gelatin over the finished pie, and gently press down to make the pie even.
