1 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 eggs
8 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup blueberries
1 cup cherries, sliced
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium saucepan, combine cornstarch, baking soda and brown sugar. Bring to a low boil, remove from heat and stir in butter, eggs, vanilla, blueberries and cherries. Place a lid on the pan and freeze.
When the mixture is cool, stir together the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Then pour the mixture into the pan, and mix until smooth. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving.
