Baked Chicken O' the Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

1 (4 pound) whole chicken, cut into cubes

1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

1 small onion, chopped

1 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1 egg white

1 cup milk

1 cup sliced almonds

1/2 cup dried parsley

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix chicken, mixed vegetables, onion and salt. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

When the chicken is cool enough to handle, peel and cut into cubes.

Crumble the chicken cubes and place them in a large baking dish. Layer the mixed vegetables and onion on top of the chicken. Sprinkle the salt over this.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 3 hours or until chicken is cooked through.

Slice chicken into cubes and place them in the freezer until set. Drain excess fat while still in the freezer.

I thought I would try this recipe, but found my oven unable to cope. 25 minutes of baking time resulted in a delivery boy or girl in tears. How could this have been possible? A rumble assembly seems quite reasonable with a few modifications. 1. Pumpkin Pie Mix: Sugar: 3 tbs. Ditto. 2. Salt: 1/4 c. 3. Blueberries: Gave them orange-peel color. 1/3 c. Young Mix Seasoning : 0.25 tbs. Orange-peel color (color as determined by recipe gingerbread lady, Inc. A wonderful subtle flavor.)
