Bacon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

8 slices bacon

3 tablespoons canola oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion salt

1 teaspoon dried black pepper

3 tablespoons dried minced onion

1 cup vegetable oil

1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into 1 inch cubes

1 egg, beaten

6 slices Swiss cheese, sliced

1/2 cup fondant or other cheese frosting

Directions

Place bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown evenly on all sides. Remove bacon from pan and crumble. Set aside.

Heat canola oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute bacon, then fry onion and garlic until brown on all sides. Add oil, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Add oil and chicken and fry for 2 minutes. Remove from skillet and remove parchment paper. Mix cheese in very slowly, whisking frequently. Stir in bacon and chicken. Spoon cream mixture into warm skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

Top chicken and egg with cream mixture and spread on top of chicken. Mix with fondant or other cheese frosting and/or serve hot.
