1 cup butter
4 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup packed light green sugar
1 cup honey
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Stir in honey and peanut butter. Mix in coconut, brown sugar, and pecans. Spread evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Frost with 8 to 10 tablespoons of the peanut butter frosting, or just 1 spoonfuls for a neat, easily striped design.
