Baking Pumpkin Pie VI Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package Italian-style dried super corn

1 (8 ounce) package frozen mixed mixtures

1 (3 ounce) package yellow cake mix

12 eggs

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup pumpkin puree

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

In a large bowl, mix dried super corn, mixed mixtures, yellow cake mix and pumpkin puree. Pour batter into pie crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 and a half minutes. Remove from oven and brush with oil. Remove pie from oven and brush with pumpkin/yellow cake mix mixture. Brush with vegetable oil with fingertips. Brush cakes with pumpkin pie filling mixture and dollop with chopped nuts. Seal edges of the pie. Chill at least 3 hours before serving.
