2 1/2 cups margarine
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 (10 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together margarine, vanilla extract, flour, baking soda and cayenne. Mix in salt, pepper and peanut butter. Stir in the margarine mixture. Roll 1/4 cup of dough into an 8 inch square. Arrange another 1/4 cup on the bottom of a large pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, in an ungreased 8x8 inch pan. Cool before cutting into squares.
