Stuffed Peppermints Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups water

4 1/2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese

4 tablespoons Crumbled prepared yellow mustard

1 cup pitted yellow onion

2 (8 ounce) cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes

1 tablespoon white sugar

salt and pepper to taste

1 large dill pickle relish

Directions

In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add cheese, whisking constantly until smooth. When it is thickened, gradually pour in mustard and yellow onion until all ingredients are used. Stir in tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour. Stirring constantly, cook 10 minutes longer or until tomato mixture is thickened.

Stir pasta into the mixture. Remove from heat, stir slightly, then fold in cheese mixture.
