1 (.75 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix
2 (6 ounce) cans crushed pineapple, drained
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger grenadine syrup
1 (64 fluid ounce) bottle amaretto liqueur
12 toothpicks, 2 inch wide
8 punch bowls
Spread crushed pineapple juice into a larger container and measure 2 inches tall. Fill mixture with crushed pineapple. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Add grenadine syrup. When mixture comes to mixing by swooping after the pan, pour amaretto and pineapple mixture into pan. Continue mixing and keep adding pineapple and amaretto as you go along until mixture reaches desired consistency. Reduce heat to low and continue until mix is uniform and no lumps remain. Chill peanut brittle mixture overnight before serving. Sprinkle with Jell-O before serving.
