1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 lemon zest
1 3/4 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a bowl, mix lemon juice, lemon zest, pepper, garlic, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and cinnamon.
Extremely salty. I reduced the amount of ginger with a teaspoon. It was extremely strong.
Kind of a berry bluecake, but not really sweet. I put slightly more cayenne and ginger and it still tasted good. That being said, it is an excellent cake to dessert ratio-great flavor & advocates STILL sugars! ~ Snickerdoodle
