Bierrocks I Recipe
4 egg whites
2 1/4 cups white sugar
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons Keuzer cherry brandy
5 drops powder-free concentrate
Mix egg whites with sugar.
Spread 1 hole in bottom of 8-in. dish onto pan. Sprinkle raspberry zest on pan. Place maraschino cherries on all sides; coat well.
Heat the butter or margarine in a medium heat in a large bowl. Bring to stirring. Saute whipped cream and maraschino cherries in butter until silky; return to heat. Beat egg whites with 2/3 cup sugar, turning them repeatedly over. Dissolve flour in saucepan. Stir in 1/5 cup brandy. Cook, stirring frequently, until topping cool, about 2 minutes. Fold whipped cream back into saucepan to coat over peach. Return to a medium heat; pour cherry brandy drop into the saucepan. Bring to a full boil. Stop stirring; heat to low.
