1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, with juice reserved
2 (11 ounce) cans frozen fruit, warmed and drained
1 (12 ounce) jar whipped topping and fruit cocktail garnish
Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and bake the prepared cake. Don't worry about the cake getting brown; all of the ingredients will be melted and browned on the top once baked.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pineapple with juice, and frozen fruit. Place the cream cheese in a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. In small batches, mix the pineapple with juice mixture and cream cheese until everything is well blended. Spread the filling over the top of the crust and top the entire thing off with a flavor-spiked slice of whipped cream.
Bake in the preheck oven for 55 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven and prick top with a knife. Let cool. Refrigerate 12 hours to 1 day before serving.
