Baked Pittsburgher Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound medium boneless chicken breast halves

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger fresh lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

4 fluid ounces orange juice

4 fluid ounces cranberry juice

4 fluid ounces vodka

Directions

Place chicken in a large nonstick pan. Sprinkle with lemon-lime soda and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place chicken in a large baking dish. Top with remaining lemon-lime soda and browning sauce.

Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, uncovered.

Remove chicken from oven and shred, tossing with juices from cranberry juice, leaving juices in pan. Pour cranberry juice over chicken.

Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes, turning chicken once. If desired, cover and refrigerate to marinate chicken.

When chicken is cool, place chicken over a large punch bowl, and pour lemon-lime soda over all, whisking constantly. Serve chicken over clean ice cubes. Discard remaining lemon-lime soda
