3 potatoes
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons white sugar for garnish
In a large skillet, cook potatoes over medium heat until tender, about 7 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons butter and sugar. Bring to a short boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes.
Mix butter and sugar and salt in a small bowl. Mix together and spread mixture over potato slices. Top with remaining butter mixture. Serve hot.
