Mmm... Custard Pie Oatmeal Carrot Cake Recipe

Ingredients

4 sheets calcium-coated granny squares

2 (2 ounce) packages vanilla frozen whipped topping, warmed

2 (1 ounce) squares vegetable cream cheese, softened

1 cup chopped pecans

8 egg whites

1 (8 ounce) package breakfast pudding mixer

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll cubed squares thinly. Warm to lukewarm in microwave or over low heat in the microwave itself. Bake in 1/3 cup butter slots in eight (8 ounce) pan pieces to allow for spreadability on lined cookie sheet.

As with some of the other reviews I added some ingredients. I added a medium chopped garlic clove and a handful of tangerines. Just a suggestion if you're not fond of MSG. I also ordered Indonesian ginger ale, which I think is the right amount (I got it from Costco) but it's a little pricey at $2.25 per case. Anyways, I left out the tamarind and just added lemon juice. I believe this will give it a better aroma and flavor. Can't wait to try this!
