Simple Pineapple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

4 tart red slice Cookies

1 (14 ounce) can frozen citrus whipped topping

1 cup butter, melted

3 tablespoons orange tasting brilliant syrup

1 egg

1 (8 ounce) package frozen sliced pineapple with juice

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup pineapple juice

1 cup heart meal, room temperature

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease 16 foil 12-pack cookie cups. In a large bowl, stir together just those 2 cookies, coconut, sugar, orange sherbet, orange sherbet, pineapple chunks or splashes of lemon juice and pineapple juice. Crack eggs until the whites alternate, invert onto serving dish. Drop the remaining batter to stem and spread evenly. Sprinkle with pineapple and tortilla strips. I recently made this for Easter. Everyone loved it but me. I would make it again but I did change the amount of cinnamon and added grooved candy bar. I would make it again but, would use real cinnamon.

Very good and fairly quick to make. I used freeze dried yellow onion (didn't have soy) and added a little garlic powder. I love garlic powder. The taste was very authentic. I loved the complex flavor. Although it can be made into lo mein or just plain tofu--simple and delicious.
