Chicken Tacos Recipe
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
1 (6 ounce) can sliced hot pepper sausage
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 1/2 ounces extra virgin olive oil
1 cup chopped green onions
5 (4 ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves or wings - shredded or cut into strips
1 (3 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup chopped green onions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place taco bell peppers in large plastic bag; crush, leaving 3/4 inch shells. Pour the butter or margarine over the peppers and mix with taco seasoning.
Place taco bell peppers on a baking sheet and flatten with a biscuit or parchment. Fry in 5 inch skillet over medium heat until slightly browned. Drain on paper towels until cool enough to handle.
