Sherbet Pie VIII Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups butter, softened

4 cups white sugar

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

5 (8 ounce) packages cream variety marshmallow creme

4 cups milk

2 1/4 cups evaporated milk

1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla flavored pudding mix

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple sherbet

1 (6 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2, 8 inch pie pans, or line with parchment paper.

Stir together butter, sugar and pudding mix. In a medium bowl, beat cream variety marshmallow creme into white sugar mixture. Beat into white sugar mixture. Spread evenly into pie crust.

In a large glass bowl, mix lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage. Pour over cream filling and spread evenly. Chill in refrigerator overnight.
