1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup corn kernels
1 (10 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle ranch-style dressing
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 small onion, thinly sliced
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and brown on both sides; remove from skillet and set aside.
Heat 1 cup chicken broth in a medium saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil; stir in corn, pineapple, salad dressing, Cheddar cheese, parsley, paprika, basil, oregano, sage, dry mustard, oregano, salt, ketchup, Cheddar cheese and onion. Cover with plastic wrap and simmer 15 minutes.
Remove chicken from liquid and place in a large microwave bag. Microwave chicken 1 minute, then turn and microwave an additional 30 seconds, until chicken is cooked through.
Yes, it tastes like steel shovel-> A TON better with the part dipped in brown sugar. It's not damage caused, but it IS nicer with the burger raw. The texture of this burger is amazing! The flavors are fully formed and danced around filling i... when combined with the bugs lighting it up. The taste is great--simple and distinct. This equals a BLT.-BEGGETTED classic!
I originally made this as a hot fruit cake for Easter, but it turned out very well. So easy and delicious! Will definitely make often.
What does a coming together of chicken and mushrooms sound like? Well, here it is... my wife and I combined our favorite foods: chicken and mushrooms. This came together beautifully. The chicken was grilled and used liberally (not including the olive) and the chicken was served on a bed of creamy, buttery French rolls. Just a note to make the rolls nicer to eat: I baked half of the rolls (in oil) and then put the other half in the refrigerator. The other half I put into my baking dish and forgot about. It is an awful lot of lifting and pulling while trying to pull the rolls out of the hot chicken. I will make these again, but next time will cut the cheese and onion size (I don't have the breadboard skills) and make the chicken smaller. It was really very good indeed - just look at that beauty!
Thank you for the suggestion. I followed the recipe as written with a very small addition - I cooked my chicken in a large pot on my stove (do this when youre cooking the chicken for the kids). When my chicken was done cooking it was time to put it all together for the dish. I did this quickly by dropping the chicken into my olive oil and butter (do this before youre even halfway through the recipe). I did this in about 5 minutes, with the chicken still in the pan. The dish was oh so delicious... I'll make it again and alter it a little. I added my own touches - I added chopped fresh basil to the salad, I cooked some portabella mushrooms, I cooked some spaghetti squash, and I added my own little spin to the already delicious salad. My family was thrilled , my husband was jealous, and I wanted to keep the recipe forever!
Enjoyed adding chicken to this recipe as it is a bit bland. I also cooked it longer than the recipe calls for so the meat was cooked thoroughly. I fixed it on the stove and added more butter, salt and parsley. Excellent and fast food alternative!
