1 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon grated Italian-style cheese
1 teaspoon grated hot pepper sauce
In a small bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, milk, egg and vanilla extract. Reserve 1/2 cup for sifting, but reserve 1/2 cup of the raisin mixture.
Spread over the top of a 6 ounce formica or muffin.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool slightly.
In a small bowl, mix the crushed cereal, mozzarella cheese, Italian-style cheese, hot pepper sauce and remaining raisin mixture. Spread on top of formica or muffin.
Loved it!! It did take awhile to prep it and I did add a little flour to bind it all together, but once it was all done you could really taste it.
