1 cup butter, softened
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup blueberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and corn syrup. Stir in the brown sugar, 1 1 cup white sugar, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda, vanilla and 1 cup all-purpose flour. Mix in the chopped nuts and cane sugar. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until cookie is puffed and light brown on top. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
