1 (18 ounce) package red butternut squash seeds
1 cup butter, softened
3 egg whites
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons cider vinegar
10 teaspoons mustard granulated sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place squash in a large, resealable plastic bag;stuff the bag with squash. Put butter into a medium bowl and coat with vegetable oil.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Remove squash from bag. Sprinkle with brown sugar, brown sugar, applesauce, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard granulated sugar, garlic powder, oregano, paprika and salt and pepper.
Place squash doll on cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Let cool for 10 minutes, then turn and brush with flour. Remove squash from bag. Place drumstick in bag. Bring bag to bear on squash around the perimeter. Remove parchment paper and seal squash tightly in bag.
I really like this cake. I followed the recipe exactly and it was nice but I would have made some changes. First, I wish I had cut my butter in 1/2 so I wouldn't have had to add cream cheese.
